Washington, D.C. is an amazing place for people of all ages and interests to visit. Below you can find more information on some of the District’s most popular tourist attractions to which our office can assist in securing tickets.
Due to an overwhelming demand for tours from people all across the country, we ask everyone to send in their tour requests as early as possible. Each institution that you request to visit confirms or denies each inquiry, so we cannot guarantee the outcome of any request.
Please fill out the following form and a member of our staff will follow up with more information. Please only list full days that you are in Washington (not travel days), to ensure our request reflects your best availability. You may also call our Tour Coordinator at 202-224-4543 with any questions.
White House
The White House is open for self-guided tours Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:30AM to 11:30AM. The White House is not open for tours on Sundays, Mondays, or Federal Holidays. These tours are generally 45 minutes to one hour long.
White House tours require additional security clearance information, so we ask that you submit your tour requests with ample time for us to acquire this information. As soon as we receive your request, we will follow up by email within five business days. Please note that White House tours can be requested up to 90 days in advance, but must be requested at least 7 days in advance. Because of the high volume of tour requests the White House receives, we recommend that you submit your tour request as soon as possible within that time frame.
To initiate a request for a White House tour, please fill out our Tour Request Form, selecting all the tours you are interested in requesting.
United States Capitol
The Capitol Visitor Center is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30AM to 3:30PM for guided tours of the United States Capitol Building. Please keep in mind that there is limited availability due to the extremely high volume of Capitol tour requests. It is recommended that you book your Capitol Tour at least one month before your visit to D.C. The fastest way to reserve a Capitol tour is by visiting the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center website to secure your own tour. You can also fill out our Tour Request Form. However, the same set of tickets is available whether you book your own tour or request one through our office, so if your tour date does not have any tickets remaining for reservation on the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center website, our office will also not be able to reserve tickets on your behalf.
