“Let’s be clear: $75 barely covers a tank of gas, let alone a cart of groceries. This year’s inflation adjustment for Social Security falls way short of making up for the high costs of Trump’s war with Iran and chaotic tariffs. It is past time for Congress to scrap the cap and expand benefits for our seniors.”
