Statement from Sen. Warren on Public Service Recognition Week

WASHINGTON, DC – United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) released the following statement to mark Public Service Recognition Week, which is celebrated the first week of May each year:

"This week we have a great chance to celebrate the hard work and dedication of America's public servants. Public employees are tireless workers who support our communities day in and day out. They teach our kids, keep our families safe, repair our roads, and deliver our mail. Their service benefits all of us, and they deserve our thanks not just this week, but every day, for the important work that they do."
