Close to 190,000 Americans have died, over 6 million cases have been confirmed, and unemployment rates remain at the highest levels in decades. President Donald Trump's failure to lead has allowed the virus to spread and put millions of Americans' lives and livelihoods at risk.
Senators Warren and Smith wrote to President Donald Trump about the failure of his recent Executive Order to address the nation's overreliance on foreign nations for key drug products, and asked that he support their legislation to actually fix this serious problem.

The COVID-19 pandemic is highlighting how centuries of structural racism have created deep disparities in health outcomes: Black and Brown people are nearly three times more likely than white people to contract COVID-19 and one to two times more likely to die from the disease.
