ABC News: Sen. Elizabeth Warren touts investigations into Trump administration's federal cuts

As the Trump administration says it's continuing its effort to reduce waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government through cuts at key agencies such as the Social Security Administration and the Education Department, Sen. Elizabeth Warren is touting her ongoing investigations that she said work to protect millions of Americans from restricted access to higher education and retirement benefits.

"We cannot stand by and let Trump abuse his power by ripping away the programs that help people breathe a little easier," Warren said in an exclusive interview with ABC News. "People voted Democrats into office to fight for them, and they do not expect us to roll over and play dead."
