The Republican Congress Sided With Big Banks Over The Military Coalition

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's "forced arbitration rule" protected a consumer's right to take big banks to court when they cheated. The Republican Congress blocked this rule, taking away one of your few legal tools to hold these companies accountable.

The Republican effort to reverse the CFPB rule wasn't about promoting a conservative agenda or a working people's agenda. Even after companies like Equifax and Wells Fargo have hurt millions of consumers, the Republican Congress is siding with big corporations over ordinary consumers.
