Senate Banking ranking member Elizabeth Warren is calling on committee Chair Tim Scott to hold a hearing with senior White House officials to discuss the administration’s approach to artificial intelligence policy.
While the committee is set to hold a hearing this week with industry experts to discuss the economic and national security implications associated with AI, Warren (D-Mass.) is urging Scott (R-S.C.) to hold an additional hearing with key administration officials including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
